Initial situation before the installation Chemiepark Bitterfeld
| In the pipe-line system for transportation of ground water hard sediments of inorganic material have formed up to 35 - 47 mm within a few months time. The pumps operate maximum 10 days after that they get exchanged and cleaned. When commissioning the Fluid-Liner® the piping system was not cleaned mechanically. |  |
Situation after the installation
The system had cleaned itself within approximately 4 months. The x-ray analysis now showed sediments of only 0 - 12mm thick. (Picture 1: 26. KW, Picture 2: 30. KW 2005). Until today there was no operation stop due to deposition in pumps or pipelines.
