The operation principles of the Fluid-Liner®

Initial Situation

Every operator of purification plants is aware of the effects of mineral precipitates, encrustations, hard deposits and blockages of organic and inorganic material in pipe-line systems. Pipe-line systems in the area of decomposition are especially hard hit. In continuous operation hardly soluble salts (e.g. struvite – ammonium magnesium phosphate) – also in connection with fats – lead to strongly adhering encrustations. Recently it was observed that hard coatings of vivianite (iron phosphate) are being developed increasingly in the area of anaerobic heat exchangers. Exemplary operating and production problems: low heat transfer in heat exchangers, cross-sectional narrowing penstocks, high wear and decrease the efficiency in systems engineering, even up to a total break-down of the system.

Normally chemicals processes (acidify the pipes and the equipment) or methods of strong mechanical impacts (pressure-flushing equipment up to milling of blocked pipes) are employed to clean the parts of the pipe-line systems. Thereby the surfaces become strongly corroded and increasingly rough. This results in a highly accelerated adherence and thus necessarily to more frequent cleaning cycles, up to the complete replacement of the respective expensive aggregates of the plant.

Operating principles

Die The prerequisite for an optimal effectiveness of magnetic fields on fluids such as water is that the frequency spectrum of the magnetic field is variable and therefore that for every flow velocity always the “correct” induction frequency is produced. The alternating current that flows through the inductors creates a magnetic field with a constantly changing frequency and polarity. This prerequisite is fulfilled by the patent protected technique of the Fluid-Liner®. By the use of wrapped inductors constantly changing frequencies, alternating modulated magnetic fields and additionally resonant pulsations are created. The electricity for the production of the magnetic fields is regulated securely and economically. The energy consumption of the Fluid-Liner® is around 200 bis 2000 W/h.

Advantages of the protective induction system

The Fluid-Liner® as a protective induction system is a physical cleaning system. It successfully reduces or even abolishes strong encrustations and depositions in pipelines and equipments in a material friendly way. The application of chemical or mechanical cleaning methods can be reduced or even completely left out. This offers operators not only significant economic benefits but also a increased operation reliability plus the fact that they operate environmental friendly.

Water has a „Memory”

The magnetic effect produced by Fluid-Liner® remains stable up to two days – even after being switched off. Only then does the produced “condition” decline: the “adhesive strength” of the sediments, which are to be avoided, increases again.
